ALPs
Athlete Leadership Programs are designed to allow a variety of opportunities for Special Olympics athletes.
Athlete Chris Paynter is an elected member of the Law Enforcement Torch Run Board of Directors.

Special Olympics Oklahoma Athletes are trained in public speaking and presentation skills for various media, presentation, or interview situations.


Global Messengers played an important role at the 2005 Summer Games Opening Ceremonies. Global Messengers introduced the emcees and made numerous announcements throughout the program at OSU's Boone Pickens Stadium.
