March 15, 2008 will be the 26th annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K presented by Runners World Tulsa and Bank of Oklahoma. The race has a history of being one of the top 5K races in Oklahoma. This race will attract more than 1,800 runners and has a tradition of kicking off the racing season for runners in Oklahoma. So, join your fellow runners and experience this exciting race. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma and the Tulsa Running Club.
The race will serve as the first leg of the Tulsa Public Schools' Triple Crown series promoting fitness and health among its students. The race will offer prize money to any local school that has the most participation. The top three schools with the most registered runners will receive
1st Place - $500
2nd Place - $300
3rd Place - $200
