Volunteers are the backbone of Special Olympics Oklahoma. Dedicated volunteers from civic/service groups, corporations, schools, universities, and individuals from your own neighborhood provide manpower for over 100 competition, fundraising, and special events each year.

Opportunities for volunteering are as diverse as the people that volunteer.

  • Competition event volunteer.
  • Unified Sports Partner
  • Booster Clubs
  • Area Management Teams
  • Fundraising & Special Events
  • Clerical
  • Coaching

As a Special Olympics Oklahoma volunteer you will get more than you give! You can’t help but have fun. And the friendships made with other volunteers as well as the athletes can last forever.

To receive a volunteer packet & application form by mail or for more information contact: Cathi Morris, Program Services Manager cathi@sook.org or at the state office in Tulsa (800)722-9004 or (918)481-1234

Competition schedules are posted to our website in late August and late January. They are also mailed to registered volunteers. Schedules include a local volunteer contact for each event.
