MTM Recognition has been a longtime supporter of both Special Olympics Oklahoma and Special Olympics, Inc. MTM Recognition is the official US Awards Sponsor of Special Olympics, Inc. They have been manufacturing and sponsoring the World Games medals worn by Special Olympics athletes since 1987. MTM Recognition has manufactured awards and officially licensed merchandise for many years. 

MTM Recognition was presented the Mike Synar Award for Excellence in 2004. This award is given to a corporate sponsor each year that demonstrates great support of Special Olympics Oklahoma. Eskimo Joe’s has produced a commemorative Special Olympics Oklahoma Summer Games t-shirt for the last 14 years, with part of the proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Oklahoma. They have raised $59,926 since 1998.
