* Only the 5K Run will be chip timed.

Starting Line:

The starting line for the 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run will be at 3920 S, Peoria close to RunnersWorld Tulsa. Click here to view the course map.

Race Registration & Packet Pick Up

Registration Cost:

$30 (13 and over)

$20 (12 and under)

In-Person Registration:

In-person registration can be done at RunnersWorld Tulsa Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15 during store hours.

Race Day Registration:

Race day registration will start at 7:30am Saturday, March 16 until race time. If you have to register on race day, please make sure to arrive early. T-shirts will be given to the first 2,500 runners.

Race Packet Pick Up:

PACKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT. Race packets can be picked up only at RunersWorld Tulsa located at 3920 S. Peoria beginning Monday, March 11 until Friday, March 15. Packet pick up times are from 10am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and from 10am-7:30pm on Thursday.

Awards Ceremony/ Post-Race Festivities

The awards ceremony and prize giveaway will be held immediately following the 5K run (approx. 10:15am). Awards will be given to the top tjree in each age group to male and female, as well as overall male and female and masters male and female. Although chip time and gun times are recorded, awards will be based on gun time. The Tulsa Running Club will award a $500 bonus for a new state open 5K record. Current records are: 13:51 (male) and 15:25 (female).

Stick around after the race to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Corporate and individual (top 3 in each age group for male and female) awards will be given out approximately 10:15am. Other activities include:

  • DJ and music
  • Free Michelob Ultra
  • Kids Fun Zone featuring Jupiter jumps, and the Southwest Dairy Farmers display with free chocolate milk
  • Photo booth

School Team Contest

Prize money will be awarded to any local school that has the most participation. The top three schools with the most registered runners will receive the following prize money:

1st place: $500

2nd place: $250

3rd place: $200

Beneficiaries

Special Olympics Oklahoma partners with the Tulsa Running Club to host the St. Patrick’s Day Run. The Tulsa Running Club (TRC) was established on 1970 and is led by a board of volunteers. The TRC directs or assists in directing a number of races in Tulsa, a year round free track program, aqua-running classes and a newsletter. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, the TRC offers a free social hour with food and drinks after track. For more information, visit their website here.
