We are excited to host our annual Gold Medal Gala in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Gold Medal Gala is Oklahoma’s premier gala celebrating people with intellectual disabilities and the Special Olympics movement in Oklahoma. Guests enjoy exciting auctions, plated dinner and dessert, cocktails, a program featuring the presentation of the Barry Switzer Award of Excellence.

The event offers businesses and individuals an opportunity for networking with notable members of the business community; entertaining employees, client guests, and friends; and demonstrating a commitment to people with intellectual disabilities and the Special Olympics movement.

HONOREE- Stan Clark

Stan Clark, founder of Eskimo Joe’s, has built one of Oklahoma’s most beloved brands with a strong spirit of service and community. His most meaningful impact can be seen in his decades-long support of Special Olympics Oklahoma. In 1998, Eskimo Joe’s launched its first co-branded T-shirt with Special Olympics, reflecting Stan’s desire to honor the courage, inclusion, and joy the Summer Games bring to Stillwater each year. Stan’s legacy is defined not just by business success, but by the lives enriched through his generosity and his unwavering commitment to ensuring every Special Olympics athlete feels celebrated and valued.
